Sebastian Neitsch and me had the honor to do two nights of musicvisualisations projected onto the hunge Arc De Triomf in Barcelona. The first night was a collaborative piece with Javier Navarrete on the piano and Luc Suarez on electrics (and a guitar). The second night featured electronic music - a live-set by Negro.The Goethe Institute commissioned these 50 minutes each videomapping performances for their big event alemania en barcelona.

so, as always on short notice:
tomorrow, 3rd of June, 2011, there will be a live performance starting at 11pm together with live music by oscar-nominee Javier Navarrete and Luc Suarez.

and the following day, 4rd of June, 2011, also starting at 11pm the musical part will be performed by ‘Negro’.

5 buildings, 11 projectors, dj /rupture & dj n-ron, sounds like it will be fun!

donautechno, a dinosaur among the clubs in vienna, invited Karl Salzmann and me to build up and curate a platform for generative visuals in its nightly location

Four mapped arcs, an automated player framework and live sound input now provide easy handling for the invited artists to just focus on the content production.

donau is opening its windows. donaufenster presents perspectives on codebased visualisations. within this scope media-artists design audioreactive and evolving systems.

instead of an interactive installation, however, nemore will be a performance! Susan Kempster, who already did a great impro the first time she met nemore, will work out a choreography and more.

at node10 we are hosting this interdisciplinary daily workshop - we meaning Alexander Graf, ID_Frankfurt, Kristina Veit, Nina Vallon and me.

since we try to be very dilligent hosts, we start preparing one week before the the node festival starts with the first public ‘work in progress’ showing on monday the 15th of November, 16pm at Frankfurt Lab.

Together with favourite design-partner Studio Deluxe twelve coherent designs for Solaris were conceived. The production merges various designing methods, from formal layouting, photography to generative constructions and laser cutting.

In the course of Schmiede10 the first public version of the interactive installation ‘Nemore’ was completed.

‘Nemore’ is a garden, consiting of 36 bendable graphite poles, which senses the visitor. Each pole has a behavior and reacts to it’s neighbours only: and to the visitor, of course - the visitor acts as an ‘alien neighbour’. Does a system arise from the poles behaviour, that the observers and the visitors perceive as angst, curiosity, nervousness, etc.? Each pole has a distinct sound, that builds up a chord, fluctuating in resonance with the movement of the poles.
